Job Description:	Develop and drive MTN Nigeria’s government regulation strategy Provide advisory support to the Regulatory Affairs function of MTN Nigeria Effectively engage with key stakeholders and decision makers in the executive and legislative arms of government Establish develop and maintain effective corporate relationship with identified government stakeholders Build MTN’s profile amongst governmental stakeholders Ensure access by the MTN Management to such key stakeholders as required Profile key stakeholders for effective engagement Initiate regular meetings with key government stakeholders Provide advisory support on key government stakeholders Perform environmental scanning of the political and regulatory environment · Undertake research and provide detailed policy analysis · Provide regular feedback to business on developments(bills, new policies within the legislative/regulatory arena) · Assist in coordinating lobby campaigns on identified issues · Coordinate action /response plans to pertinent issues · Identify regional vulnerabilities and recommend due mitigation · Provide periodic intelligence reports, political audits and proactive feedback on emerging issues, developments and trends · Develop and maintain a strong ethical relationship between MTN Nigeria and the relevant institutions/bodies with a view to ensuring the long term viability of the business · Provide support to other functions within the CSD in Abuja

Required Skills:	10 years working experience with 5 or more years experience in a government relations and/or stakeholder engagement role Proof of requisite stakeholder contact/network base Prior experience in the Telecomm industry will be an added advantage
